Has anyone got a picture of what their lights look like, I'd like to see what they're like before I think about getting some myself?
I dont have any pictures on my phone, i wouldn't recommend mine as their too blue
Thanks
Martyn
So mine turned out to be a failure. Still keen on finding some that work though - an early-morning trip today (-2, nice) reminded me how horrible the standard yellowy sidelights are!
Any "bright ideas"? Groan.

Darn, nope I've been waiting for you, were yours too blue?
Thanks
Martyn
Too not-turning-on actually! (yes I know the polarity matters ) Maybe I just got a duff set. Hmmmm.

I bought these HB3s a while ago and they came with chav blue sidelights...

Naturally, I didn't fit them. For a laugh, a few weeks ago, I thought I'd stick em in and was surprised to find they are actually bright white! I'll get a pic later if you like? For the money, a pair of 100W main beam bulbs and sidelights can be nicely disposable but they haven't blown and I'm still using them

Thank you so do you have xenon? And they're a colour match?
Thanks
Martyn
they're standard fittings with Ring xenonmax H7 bulbs - really bright white
The cheapo chav blue sidelights match the white perfectly, even though they're blue when they're off.
I'll get a better shot with the good camera if you like?

Al115 (Tuesday 3rd April 2012)
Gutted they were a perfect colour match but when the ignition is off there is still current getting to them so one of the leds had a faint glow to it, does this mean i need leds with resistors?
Thanks
Martyn
Enough is enough I can't be bothered hunting proper bulbs anymore, I just tried osram xenon look bulbs, they look nothing like the lights so I have kept my original LEDs they still look much better than standard ones
Thanks
Martyn
Ive still given up on the side lights but I have just ordered this along with the LED puddle lights. I know its a tad expensive but I cant be bothered trawling Ebay for bulbs and the like.
Thanks
Martyn
