Its something I thought about, but TBH I dont want to spend that much on them just for that, and I'm not keen on HID kits I think I would have to do some bodging to get them to actually fit.
    Thanks

Hi have been trying LEDs in the front fogs but not working yet.
There is a lens in the R lamp units also a tin plate that sets the beam setting which can be adjusted.
When I fitted LEDs it's more like tea lights than fogs lights.

Nice we'll let me know if you can get these to work, i'm honestly not interested in how bright they are, they are a waist of time anyway, its just a style thing i'm after so that when I flick my get home lights on everything will match. I've noticed the new V50's have DRL leds and they look to be in the spotlight location so I think they have done away with the actual fog functionality, I wonder if they would work

True but there's 530W of light on the front of my car for less than 25 quid. It's price and function over look for me at the moment, but I'm pleased I got them all roughly the same colour

here are some of the fog lights lamps i have tried

the top one just changed the colour

the middle well looked like a tea light

the lower one nice colour but had to grind the fog lamp holder to get it to fit, not much fun, colour was spot on but the lens on the lamp unit just didn't work in the fog-lamp own lens, next thing i am going to try is remove lens on the led unit.

Sorted! They finally work. I tried straightening the wires that go into the back of the bulb holder on both sides and now they seem to be working without and issues! Result :-)
