    Strut brace

Anyone selling, or know where I can get a strut brace for my p1 T5? Nothing too fancy as I don't want to spend too much. If they are expensive, I'll just make one at work, actually thinking about it I might just do that anyway... Would be a nice project for my little tig set, or should I wait till we get ali welding equipment at our workshop and make it out of aluminium?? I'm just going on with myself now, need a top engine mount bush too, will go on ebay for that in a miniute though...

They cost around £70 from your local dealers, or PM Rufe on here, he does mail order.

I guess I need not say ill fourth it!

You can get them from either IPD, Volvo or various other manufacturers. The Volvo genuine part is the cheapest of the lot though.

If anyone spots a Rear Strut brace let me know, I had one for the last 854 and have "mis-placed" it.
Arguing is pointless....she may not be right but she's never wrong

Tell her a remap is just having your satnav updated.....

I put mine on today( the one I bought off T5 Frankie), but won't use the car until tomorrow. Four of us plus the big food/drink shop, and we'll see what difference it makes. This one is the actual Volvo brace.

Cool, I'll keep an eye out and see what you think, my mate has a V70 (facelift) and thats got one on, he reckons it makes a huge difference to the handling.
