Yup, Mine is a ME7 manifold with the lip skimmed off, and a T25 adaptor plate fitted.

If you are going to go Garrett, go for a T3 flanged turbo, reason I didn't is because when I ordered my turbo they had no T3 flanged one in stock, and where waiting for a back order to come through in about 4 months! This was last year though.

it is fun mate just need rods ,pistons,850r clutch, turbo and of its a big one then n/a cams are a good upgrade too.build it with new downpipe and piping for new turbo and custom map .3in tb and hard piping too with custom intercooler would be good too.then 400 bhp is good but 350 whp is enough for fwd in imho though

The cams out of 20valve non turbo engines

N/A stands for Normally Aspirated, while a turbo charged engine is forced aspirated.

depending on what turbo you are using depends on the size of your injectors mate.

The engine in that car linked earlier is not a motronic T5 engine. It is a late T5 engine probably the B5244 T5 engine from the 05 on cars. The most gains for less outlay on these engines has to be the head. When ported well and macthed on a flow bench the figures increase dramatically. Tim Williams proved this with IIRC Irfs car achieving 340hp with an 18t whites and a decat with only head work as the major thing done. I think that was the only work done on the car but the person to ask would of course either be Tim or Irf. I prefered the later heads on the T5 engine as they require much less porting and polishing.
