Baby swede; quick as a T5?

Just set up a questionable rig (iphone attached to the steering wheel ) to film a quick 0-60 run after i finally got the moody little beast running properly, and based on the book times for the 850, it would seem to be getting to 60 as quick as a T5, so watch out haha

as Frankie says, it does depend how accurate your speedo is. 8seconds is on par with a stock T-5 so very good going sir, whats the factory 0-60 on your 440?

my 0-60's been timed at 5.7 (@santa pod)

Fair enough, parkers seem to think the standard 850 T5 runs 7.5s which is around about what the first run was in the video. Still, not bad i'd say

Originally it was 11.4 with the old engine, but a standard turbo is supposed to be, 8.8s, again taken from parkers.

    Timed at 7.6s

Brisk enough but not as quick as a T5 methinks... A T5 would really start to show its power above 60 anyways.

Still looks fairly quick and I bet you give a fair few 'quick' cars quite a surprise in that!

most volvos speedos are about 4-5mph out at 60-70mph so 70 mph on the speedo would be 65-66mph in reality

yeah theres no question a T5 would leave me standing on a good run, and it was just a quick test run to see if the camera would fall off or not really

Nice going looks like it moves pretty well, I bet you can shock a few cars with that of a set of lights!! Reminds me of my mates Orion turbo alittle in the way it goes and sounds.

I can be reasonably happy that Betsy can do 0 - 62 in about 6 seconds. I know for a fact she does 77.2 mph in 9.68 seconds & a full quarter of a mile in 14.5 doing 104.7 mph (eat that Frankie- boy)

Nope - you did 14.55 @ 99.1 - there's quite a difference. Plus I will be old and grey before BT puts in an appearance.

Frankie don't be too long - we already have 1 pedro/BT combination.

    99.1...

Mines on the pencil sharpener sized stock turbo and it did 99.5

Terminal speed is a good measure of how 'powerful' a car is... timing can be down to a lot of other factors.
