    Osram Night Breaker Plus

Anyone use these on their P2 S60? How do you find them?
Thinking of getting some, is the low beam H7 on my car?

Use them in the Honda CRV and the 850 so they must be OK! Well, they're not up there with hids or xenons, but they are certainly somewhat better than the ordinary boggo halogen - and you can get them on Ebay and bulb specialists for MUCH less than in Halfords, etc.
    KISS Rs

850R manual, Rica 310, IKEA fitted bathroom, H&C running water, Jetex 2.5", pipe rack, cap stand, Forge BOV, circular wheels with full 360 degree rotation, 302mm discs, IPD front and rear anti-roll bars, numerous shiny features, sub-atomic particle accelerator, VTOL capability ...Volvo With Attitude!!!
Also to be seen in a gold Honda CR-V these days...

I used nightbreakers before I put some HIDs in and they were great, plus if you get them off ebay they come in around £15 for a pair delivered! Cheaper than halfords crappy replacement bulbs for £20 odd a pair.

Picked up some Ring 120+, which are 30% brighter than the Osrams. £20 delivered from ebay, will let you know how they look.

I wouldn't waste my money on all these Halogen bulbs that claim to be brighter. I've had 'em all in the past. All they do is colour tip the bulb and make the fillermant smaller so it burns brighter. Downside is they don't last as long as a standard Halogen bulb.

Just buy a set of HIDs of Ebay for £40!! There are some companys on Ebay offering 2 years garantee on both bulbs and ballasts. I use them on my Van and they are the dogs! No Halogen will ever be as bright as a HID.

Hids are pretty easy to fit - not exactly plug and play but anyone with a modest amount of DIY nouse could fit a set. Not sure about S60 but on 850 is straightforward but does require a couple of holes drilled into the bulb covers and possibly for the ballasts although there is usually somewhere to bolt them down. I got rid of my Hids because they looked a bit tacky for me - but I am an arrogant snob...or knob...according to some

Very easy. Plenty of info on You Tube. Took me 25 minutes in the dark with a head torch, fitting them on my Van.

If your ganna spend £25-30 on Night breakers then do yourself a favour and get HIDs. You won't regret it....Guaranteed!!

They were a pain in the ass. No room to move, can't see the clip or the light bulb from the back. I basically had to close my eyes and do it by touch.

The bulbs are much brighter, I will let you know how they are tonight.

According to the Autobulbs website, it would be the H7 for dipped beam on your car.
