    Headlight switch compatibility

Does anyone know if the phase 2 headlight switch is interchangeable for the phase 1 switch?

I need a replacement switch (with only rear fogs) for my phase 1, problem is I can only find phase 2 switches to buy!!

    Cheers!

That is for a phase1 car, but I need one that only has the switch for the rear fogs!!

So far I have only been able to find phase1 switches with front and rear,
Which is why I was hoping I might be able to use a phase2 switch instead (cause I can find loads for rear fogs only!!)

OK, if you have a look at the link below and get in touch with Rufe he may be able to help you, think you get discount too if you mention your a member on here. Take a look and give him bell or email, very helpful chap.

Thought it may be cheaper than buying new. The switch would be £9.50 and £1.20 entry to the scrappy then postage @ about £1.50.
Don't know how much they are new, knowing volvo, roughly a kidney and first born - Rufe's discount, so just a kidney

Thanks, unfortunately it will not fit.
If it's ok, I might look through the website and PM you if I find a suitable one?

    Cheers

I think this car may have the correct switch, But I can't see clearly from the picture though.

    http://vehicles.pickapart.uk.com/bre...l/manual/12682

Visually the difference is very minor:

(with front and rear fogs - WRONG)

(With only rear fogs - CORRECT)

    Cheers!

You're very welcome mate. Hope it all works as it should.
How did you get on with that cargo net? I couldn't work out how it goes and I took it off lol

Nice to see Royal Fail getting a move on and delivering within 24 hours of pickup.

my dad used to be a subpostmaster, and even he has no faith in them!
that said, they are better than parcel farce.
you'd be better off throwing your parcel straight in the bin than using them (its cheaper and ends up in the same place!!)

I fitted the switch earlier, all works perfectly.

I'm still trying to get my head round the cargo net, tho probably not the best day to be trying to use my brain (went for a drink with my cousin yesterday for the first time in 17 years!!)
