Stronger actuator spring is now in and with a tweak of the boost controller by performing a new basic setup I'm only loosing roughly 3psi at max RPM. With that extra boost up top, it does feel a little less asthmatic.

Got to learn how to use the EVC6 properly if I want to hold max boost all the way.

Not sure on your actuator setup and whether mine is relevant to yours, but its using a Forge actuator with a white spring. Base boost is 21.7psi i.e I can't run lower than 21.7psi.

Might be worth a look at a Forge one then. I'm not running any more than 1.3 bar at the minute on the standard 16t. Would still be nice to hold some of that extra back after 4.5k though.

You'll have to wait like everyone else for the next generation Forge actuators for the TD04

It would drop from 1.3 bar at 4500 rpm with the wastegate welded shut. The turbo is saturated at that point.

Maybe, but still going to be an improvment over standard

    Forged rods and standard pistons.

    It's a Tim Williams build.

450 is really impressive on standard pistons... got to love volvo for that!

    Do you run water/ethanol injection?

I have it, just not switched it on yet as I have to fiddle with the aquamist gauge to make the system work properly.
