    No windscreen washers

    Father in law rang with a little puzzler on his 99 V70R;

    Windscreen washers and headlights getting NO water, can hear the pump running.

    Rear screen IS getiting water, can hear the pump running.

    However he says when trying to wash the front screen the rear screen gets a little squirt instead?

    Does this sound like a pump problem, diverter valve, or a blocked tube? Just asking before he starts crawling round under the wing and sets his bad back off!

    Sounds like a blocked tube, the rear feed is getting a small amount the front none. Try taking the pipe off the jet and blowing through it.

    Did you know the EU says that you can't claim that drinking water prevents dehydration. So now you know for sure what many of have known for years that the EU is run by a bunch of nutters.

    The car did stand for a few months I believe. My last R almost had frogspawn in the washer pipes and it stood a year after an owner died...
