Are you for real ?? You started telling me yes telling me that I needed to go and look on youtube for definative evidence that a turbo from a Diesel truck will work on a small petrol. Is that the fruits of your months of research ?? I've had plenty of success tuning all sorts of cars and bikes the only people who say avoid are a handfull of muppets most who have never even seen or spoken to me..
I look forward to the day that you prove me wrong with this Holset turbo on your T4 but I think it is a long way off.

Well it's being done as funds permit but I have most of the bits now. If it doesn't work I will let everyone know and find a different size Holset. They are very cheap in comparison to the Garretts. Fruits of my research are far more than that Hamish why be such an £££££££ about it. I have researched you as well, most of my fruits were that you are a rude and have even threatened people in the past. My research was confirmed correct in a 20 second phone call.

I put the phone down because I felt I was going to start arguing with Hamish. He obviuosly knows nothing about the turbo I'm fitting to my car so why say it won't work. Why not say

''sorry Mitch, I have no experience with these turbos so I will not be able to help but I'm interested to know how you get on so let me know''.

From what I've read he generally seems not be the type of person who is a natural at talking to members of the public in a polite, courteous manner. He might be a nice guy, I don't know, but just comes across as an arrogant know it all.

It only confirms what I've already discussed with many Volvo enthusiasts. I'm not a bad customer to anyone. I just like to be treated with respect and not to be belittled by someone.

And do you think you showed us any respect? I don't think so. You phoned, asked an opinion, you didn't like the answer, you slammed down the phone and then posted a thread slagging off our business.

I feel very sorry for the garage that agrees to do this work for you because if it ever gets there, which I doubt, I can gurantee it will end up in a sea of 'sh&t' because you are just that type of person.
