    have you opened up the outlet port while you've got the turbo off?

    eeeeeeerrrrrrrr no dont tell me u can do that cos im a cnc programmer/ toolmaker and i could have bored it out last week, would of only taken me 5mins as i cleaned it up at work gggggggrrrrrrr

    good luck can be a bitch sometimes changing turbos, you changing the whole unit?

    It's certainly cleaned up nicely are they the original vac lines, look like it, might be worth changing them if they are while you've got the turbo off as the pipe to the compressor housing is a git to get off and on when the turbo is in situ..

    Be interesting to hear what you think the car is like, and of course which of the two red estates will emerge victoriously afterwards.

    T5 yep Changan whole unit as the housing is spot on nocracks etc
    Andy I've got all new vac lines on me car now so will just swap the over and as for who's got the faster red one.... Err it's not about the performance......... YEH RIGHTY OH WATCH THIS SPACE PMSL

    Good stuff, will wait to hear how it goes, although I might not be online until Monday so will make good reading at lunchtime

    Fingers crossed it's not "Since I fitted the turbo I've got a ticking noise from the engine" as I think we've had enough of those posts recently

    Na even tho I'm a bit of nutter as u would put it Andy lol we will be backing off the UNOs all the way etc on the first few runs just to make shore all is good under the hood... Once all ok then will start to tweak it up to my desired psi think it's goin tobe about darkredisfasterthanbrightred psi pmsl

    It's easy to fit, although you will probably need some of the rivet fixings at the sides as they don't come out in one piece very nicely
