Hi guys as you may know already my clocks no longer register miles, the speedo and rev counter work and so does the computer. What could be wrong? Is it the clocks or a sensor on the gearbox?

Hi guys as you may know already my clocks no longer register miles, the speedo and rev counter work and so does the computer. What could be wrong? Is it the clocks or a sensor on the gearbox?

Mines done this once before and has actually just failed again. The problem is the small stepper motor that turns the odometer and it is this that fails. You can buy a second hand set of clocks and swap the odo and trip into it, whilst it's out you can also adjust the mileage to read the same as your car.
