Are you sure I thought the first P1 R's were FWD then the P2's were same style but with AWD then the last R's were P3

Britten mark said his laser blue R was P3 too

If the doorhandles are flush with the panel, like mine, it's P2, if they protrude a bit, it's P3.

"R" is now designated as a trim and body styling rather than performance setup. shame really - who wouldn't want an S60 T-6 R in manual.... oooh bugger, I just made a mess in my pants!

There no R's lol If I ever buy a R desighn wether its a 1.8 S40 or a S60 T6 the badges will be coming off.

The T6 only comes in auto, unless Volvo have now realized what a mistake that was
    Thanks

Exactly, If they built it, they would come (to quote a film) Volvo have gone dull again.

Spoke to a salesman, they don't have the kick in the arse feeling when the turbo spins up as they are tuned for a consistent (dull) power delivery. He said they're as quick as a T-5. I frowned one eyebrow at him and asked for a test drive, "we haven't got any" was his reply.

My p2 got a bit more exciting (I hate to use that term, but it's the most suitable) after the introduction of the powerflow air filter

Thanks, Have you tweeked yours at all? the P1 should have a more aggressive feel to the acceleration due to the lack of delay between the noisy pedal and the engine. I don't like the way mine waits about a second before it unleashes the ponies - don't get me wrong - a 250+bhp kick in the arse is always nice!

Thats good, I dont think I have one mate that doesnt slag me off for driving a Volvo. It doesnt matter that its comfyer and faster than theres its still a Volvo to them. I actually hate telling people I have one, its always the same comments you get. An M3 driver would never say he's just got a M3, when they ask me I say i've just got a Volvo, have you heard of the T5 .... well the faster one from that. Still doesnt stop the piss taking
    Thanks
    Martyn
