Looking over some more history the car appeared back in 2008 with 69k on and was commented on VOC, at least then the mileage between 2008 and 2009 of 10k car be justified.

I think its definately ex police although an SE spec ex fuzz? Its a merseyside registration and I discovered that Northumbria Police had a traffic S70 with almost identical reg.

This one is R822JFT and Police R826JFT!

Im not fussed either way just interested to know the history, if its ex poliec would be great to get a picture like martinpreachey of it in full livery.

May not have been a traffic car, something like an armed response car wouldn't cover anywhere near as many miles.

Maybe if I spelt it Polce instead of Police I would get away with it... if it were a show car just for qaurter miles etc I probably would for a laugh! I know Steve on another forum has an 850 with the blue and yellow checkers and has been pulled over many a time but as they are not reflective they are legal.

I hope so mate, I am certainly going to try track all the history.

A few year old post linked to an autotrader link for the car some years ago had the car is pristine condition inside and out and there were no signs of holes anywhere, perhaps an unmarked white car?

Could well have been an unmarked white one either that or somebodys spent the time restoring it to factory condition.
Theyre using all sorts of unmarked ones round cumbria at the min. Got a good range of colours in V50's and V70's. Theyre getting sneaky. Theyre all out to get me. Lol.

There should be a calibration sticker on the speedo "Calibrated by IRS Nottingham" if its a police car. It does look like an ex plod car and may have had a clock change at some point.

I usually prefer 17" comets on the s70's, but on a white car you can't beat some nice dark 18" pegs.
