    s60 2.0t rica

    Hi all,
Had my car Rica tuned today, and well impressed.
Std. On the dyno it did 175 bhp and 181 lb of torque.
After it did 202 bhp and 240lb of torque, bit down on quoted figures, but it has done 160k.
On the road it feels very strong, and flies.
    Well pleased.
My awesome 855 Gone but never forgotton.

currently cruising (Hmmmm) in my S.60 2.0T, with mild mods, and a RICA remap. very niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

Who cares, thats almost a 33% increase in torque (181 to 240), pretty decent result i'd say.

    RICA quote 300 Nm not 300 lb.ft.

I think that considering the car has done 160,000 miles and was down on stock power anyway, the results are reasonable.

all the dyno plots I've seen (real one not fantasy ones!) give 30% improvement in mid range and about 10%-15% bump in top end power.

Yours seem on the money - 30-70, 60-100 or Terminal top speed on the 1/4 mile is the real deal when it comes to how powerful your car is (in the real world!)

Done some tests today. Don't know how they compare, but 50 to 70 mph was 8 seconds was 8 seconds, and 60 to 80 took 6.27 seconds. Felt very strong. LOving this map.!
ALso modded my intake, bymaking a heatshield, as when it was on the dyno, the cone was very hot, and the operator advised I needed to try and get it cooler, intake temp was 10 degrees higher at the intake than ambient. Tried it today, and its worked, a lot cooler than before.
    Well pleased!

    Craig.

    Whats your 50-70 in 3rd ??

    Should be about 5 seconds

60-80 in 6.27 seems pretty decent

    stock S40 T5 is 4.5 (50-70)

    manufacturers spec for the S40 T5 in 4th was 6.0 50-70

so if you're in the 6 second bracket you're doing well
