    Replacing a key

    I have the plastic type key that contains a metal key, does anybody know what is involved in reprogramming the plastic key ? was thinking of buying a spare .thanks for any info .

    Assuming you have sorted it now??

    I am sure only Volvo can programme the key to the car through Vadis. Otherwise A) you'll never open the car and B) the transponder will not recognise the key and therefore the car will not start.

    Price in the region of £150 - £200.
