Can the early T4's be mapped via the OBD port or is it an ECU out job?

Thanked 19 Times in 16 PostsNot 100% sure about the early T4 but when I enquired about my 2001 S40 T4 I was told they could not flash it via the odbII port and the ECU would need to be sent to the tuning company (that was info from celtic tuning)
