My T5! On day will be for sale!

I say "one day for sale" as I should get rid of it as it's impractical for me but for some unknown reason...... I love the damned thing! I say damned also cause as some of you may know I've had lots of problems! Everytime I sort one thing another pops up! I won't to keep everyone upto date with my problems and solutions so when I do come to sell it. People will know I'm being honest and the car they are getting is well worth the money!

    Story so far........
Bought on EBay for £1600 said to be immaculate!
    First problem no radio lol

On my way back from Wales I hit traffic on the motorway only to find the whole car shaking and bouncing! So I've now after quite a long time I've fitted a pair of discs! Turned out the ns discs was warped, also the rear top mount had snapped so have now changed that!

Next MAF and lambda sensors were on the list! Followed by intercooler burst. New intercooler and then turbo pipe burst. New turbo pipe and everythings dandy! Lol

Lost key ment new alarm relay and fob, new rear window and new boot lock!
Haven't replaced the rear boot lock yet! Parts on loan till I can get hold of a boot plinth.

The gearbox is a strange problem! The syncro didn't seem to work in 1st all the time nor 2nd or 5th! The synchro in 5th I believe is warn but in all the time I've been driving it it's never got worse! First and second I believe now is the slave cylinder as the clutch pedal is irregular in operation. Eg sometimes in the morning it won't even disengage! Never the less it's not stopped me getting anywhere and is easily liveable for now till it gets worse!

Latest problem is radiator is now pissing out. Was leaking a little bit lately but bit to drastic. Also had a new header tank fitted as mine cracked!
The problems I've had and yet I still love it!!!

Think it's gonna be hard to sell even when I get my v12 MR2 back!
Sorry to bore you lot but this may help someone in the future when hopefully they buy my car!

Yeah the Volvo was meant to be my run around till the MR2 is back. Using a 750 BMW engine matched with a 2010 Audi gearbox ;-) thinking I could keep the Volvo to toe the mr2 to track days lol

Not a problem as I've bought a lock and key :-) I'll just get it painted.

I keep wanting to make the 850 faster and better too! But then I remember..... No! 1 project at a time lol

Jesus that looks one hell of a machine. When do you expect it will be back on the road? I bet its easy to light the wheels up!

Would be good to see it in the flesh.

I do hope so! The 2 T3/T4 turbo should help me see the 500bhp mark. Saying that the volvo is close to 300bhp and it half the size!

Ok guys due to lack of funds and a long hard reality check the car could possibly be up for sale, needs a gearbox as second gear is pretty much gone, it's there but you gotta put it in firm and carefully, the tax is up at the end of this month and I really need to put the money towards my MR2. Bargain even with the problems £600 anyone interested pm me
