    rear springs

    could anyone tell me what the difference is between saloon and estate rear springs ,both are non nivomats, only reason i ask is i've gone and bought a set of springs for a saloon when i actualy wanted estate ??muppet!!

    i'd guess load rating may be different, they definitely have a different part number on them. The saloon springs sit a bit lower too i believe, not 100% sure though. Can you send them back? if not its not a massive job to put them on so you could always give em a go

    think i might just have to try, they are 25mm lower aswell , downside any marks etc they may not take them back although could keep them for the saloon but hadn't planned on an extra couple hundred to spend !!!
