i got some 200mcd 3mm blue led's today. fitted 1, wasn't hard. put it in my car & its way to bright. Love the blue glow when the cars interior dimmer is slid RIGHT down,. BUT.....when the switch is a very nice low glow blue, the dimmer is so low that the dash lights go out. Any ideas?

That happens on mine too, the dimmer only dims the leds a bit and when its on the lowest setting all the leds go off. The only way to get around this is to alter the inside of the dimmer control somehow, but I've not looked into it, sorry.

all the actual dash bulbs had led's bulbs fitted that fit the regular fitting. All the switches will be changed for 3mm led's and me having to switch the bulb into the little plastic carrier.

viking, the dimmer will work BUT..... when the led bulbs in the switches are on and I dim it down to the lowest setting to get the bulbs not 'in your face' bright, the dimmer is so low the dash (speedo etc) go's out.

I've got the 4 x 194's in and they work a treat. Just need the smaller ones for the indicator, Er, Indicators and the info display.
