    Thumbs up bumper greys dyed,,

orderd some grey dye for car plastics of ebay and set about trying to sort the bumpers as they had faded bad,,this is the stuff
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Plasticare...item3a68a0badf

so i removed the door strips and masked up my bumpers my rear was the worst front not so bad and done the sides and mudflaps just so all would match

above you can see the side strips not dyed yet below is one done one not,

and then the rear bumper started

    rear bumper needed three coats

it is a bit streaky tho i dont think i left enough time between coats
front bumper only needed two coats as it wasnt as faded as the rear

done the flaps and front wing trims

completed pics bit improvement and the thing is they shouldnt need dressed after a wash ect, still not happy about the rear it wil get another coat soon the sides and mud flaps only need one coat i applied with a brush and then smoothed with a sponge,,

another small update my front indicators black outlined like the newer volvo think its looks great!

the indicators where trail and error lol,,,had a spare set gave them a good clean to get all the dirt/moss from behind the lense edge masked the entire front edge and just sprayed the inside groove behind the indacator where the dirt biulds up with the black paint i done my grill with, its didnt completely black out where painted sorta gave it a tinted effect as it wasnt plastic paint.

yes the bumpers can be split but means removing from the car which means drilling all the heads off the pop rivets and replacing when done i thought this stuff as its brush/sponge freindly seemed a better option ,,,it also comes in black which phil used above

Thanks for that, I'm 50/50 on them at the moment. I changed my original ones because they looked scrabby and crap with all the dirt around the edges of the lamp and I like the look with the fresh indicators in there. However what you've done is give the edges of the indicator a uniform look, I've got my old ones in the garage somewhere if you don't mind I might give painting them like you have a crack and see how they look. They also seem to have the added effect of making the headlights look slightly smoked... or is it just me?
