Light coming on..

Ive got a light coming on when accelerating, and sometimes over bumps..
Its my passenger footwell courtesy light , which I presume is caused by a loose wire in the door lock? As I cant see any pin switches .
Has anyone had this problem before and is it just a matter of taking the door card off and ajusting/replacing the switch.

the pin switch is in the actual latch on the door i believe

Just thought...if its the door switch, wouldnt the other lights come on too?

As you say my guess is that something is touching something somewhere.

Best bet would be to take out the lamp and follow the wiring with your hand and see what you find.....

Strobe lighting whilst driving.....that could catch on, soon everyone will want it We saw it here first......

The light only comes on with the car running , over bumps and when you boot it...Been suggested to leave it alone and use it as a G Force light.
