    Blue smoke

    Got blue smoke coming out the back of my 850 t5
    Im thinking turbo seals are on their way out to be honest?
    Any other ideas as to blue smoke,headgasket,piston rings are ruled out

    is the blue smoke all the time or on over run?

    or stood on tickover?

    turbo seals...
    who puts 300bhp in a volvo.....DONT MIND MY SMILE, THE VOICES IN MY HEAD ARE JUST TELLING DIRTY JOKES........v70R...hids..black mesh grill...17 inch R alloys..groved and drilled front and rear disc..lots bling..,k-n filter..yamaha R1-98 with nos..touring bike honda varadero xl 1000...

    turbo seals, im in the process of having mine repaired, and it ws same symtoms.....

    i am having the same problem but only when am accelerating hard on boost and then come off accellerator and back on again doesn seem to do it any other times any ideas

    That sounds like classic turbo seal symptoms, but might also be worth getting the PCV checked out before you take the turbo off and overhaul it..
