    Door speaker on...off...on etc !

The tweeter is always on very faintly, bass is off and on whenever it wants.

Drivers door, so had the panel off and checked wiring but no apparent problem. As the tweeter is always faintly on I assume wiring is ok. Now wondering if it is the head unit.

    Any ideas ?

My guess would be the voice coil of the bass speaker is damaged. Polly just worn out but the only option is to replace the speaker.

Thanks for that, but why would it work sometimes and reduce the volume for the tweeter ?
