    front bumper

    how hard/easy is it to take the front bumper off? my r skin should be ready soon. so just after a few pointers if poss

    If your just replacing the lower (coloured) part of the bumper then what you need do is...

    Drill out the plastic pop rivets holding the wheel arch liner to the back edge of the bumper.
    Remove the grills near the towing eye and the opposite side
    Remove the torx screws that go up into the bumper, these are situated just inside the vents in the bumper 2 each side and a few across the middle.
    Remove the numper plate
    You can now start prising the coloured part away, do it slowly as it's held in place by large flat clips on the top edge of the coloured section, go slowly using some screwdrivers/levers to prise it away, if you pull too fast or too much you can rip the plastic.

    Refitting is er.....the reverse of removal (to quote Haynes).

    if your doing it the Haynes way then don't forget to disconnect the battery lol
