I know how you feel Giles, but it is a great learning process, you will see how strong these car are when you get really into it. just think of the £££s and not the mess on your drive lol.

That's what i keep telling myself and tbh - i try to think of it as 'selling the car'......and hopefully helping people out too.....I am not after making a killing on the bits, just trying to claw back what it has cost in my 2 months of blissful ownership......

My biggest fear is of people pulling out of commitments to the bits.....but, they are kinda sought after and should go anyway if so.....some things as you said earlier i seem to have let go for silly money and others may have been a bit high......

Unbelieveable really.......was offered £1,250 for it as a car and so far, all being well, should get back about £2,000 in bits (including cancelling my insurance and tax back)......will still be £1,500 down tho

Sad state of affairs Giles, I just hope that come the end of it you can at least be satisfied with whatever you make from the car.

Point to remember too you can no longer self scrap a car you need an authorised breaker or dismantler to remove the vehicle and provide you with a certificate of destruction.
Arguing is pointless....she may not be right but she's never wrong
