Wiper problems

Today i had my car washed and the wipers seem to be parked half way up the screen. The wipers work perfectly fine when in use but they park half way up the screen? Im thinking maybe some wireings got wet? Anybody no anything or have any ideas?

The park position is set by the motor. Maybe the electrical connections to the motor are poor? If not new motor time...

The last time i had any issues with the wipers it was a headlamp motor that had gone down and the windscreen wipers would not stop!! It could develop into this...
