Thanks for your kind words, I had always wanted an 850R boot spoiler for her and I was really pleased with how it turned out once it was painted & fitted. As for more plans/mods I've got an neverending list

Looks mint there buddy - nice job. Not touched my coilovers yet, left them as shipped, but like the look of that, how much lower than shipped was this done? I think I need to get winding

Go on have a play you maybe surprised at the difference. I can go another 4-5 treads lower on the back which will put the mudflaps on the floor but there is also plenty to go alot higher and on the front I'm about a 1/4 into the treads, so there is plenty of adjustment in either direction. The rebound rate was on max but ive adjusted it right back to only 10% (which I'm still playing with ) I wanted the to car sit level so there was alot of fine adjusting to sort it.

What size springs do you (or anybody) think i would need to give my s70r a similar ride height?

    Unfortunatly i can't afford coilovers.

Im not sure they do them that low with springs, that's why I got coilovers. FK suspension did some lower than usual drops, you could give them a looksy

I wouldn't want mine quite that low.
All the coilover kits i'v seen have been too expensive (£700+) and to be honest every car i'v been in with coilovers has had a too harsh ride for me.
Although, i'v never been in a volvo with them on, so don't know how they ride with them.

Im pretty sure that you can a get 40mm drop kit, I think PI do them (springs only) and they are pretty cheap to, though I'm not sure on how well it will ride and handle just with lower springs in on standard shocks??

It's firm, definately feel the road more - but comfy strangley. I took my mother in mine, and she has a Spinal Injury, and she said it was comfy - but she has been on Morphine for several years, and may not have been her talking

These KW coilovers are nearly double that price, although they are perhaps firmer than standard I have found them to be very progressive and compliant like a well sorted standard sports car.

You pay your money, you take your change - pi springs!!!

I've fit bilstein b4 shocks all round and then put Kilen sports springs on with 40mm drop. Tbh i don't think it looks much different, but it looks meaner and lower from the front.
The ride is much better, firmer in the corners but strangely seems less harsh over bumps. That could have been my old knackered springs though.

Bailey dump valve + Boost gauge + Manual boost controller + K&N induction kit + Powerflow cat back exhaust + Strut Brace + Bilstein shock n sports springs with 40mm drop
= very fast and still turns corners

The front only needs dropping a bit, but the rear looks like its on stilts. lol
