Boost

Hi all i posted last week about vac problems i think ov sorted it now its idling beter.
My boost is still not hitting 1.2 when i floor it instead of going strate to 1.2 bar it hits 0.7 quickly then climbs to a 1.0 bar does this sound like a leak because the ecu and the 19t were ok on my other engine and always hit 1.2 quickly??
Iv tightend allboost pipes??

What sort of boost control are you running? Is it all done via the BCS or are you running an mbc?

Its the bcs mate. And its only a few months old too.

is the actuator tight mine had a simmiler prob turned out it was to loose

Are all the pipes connected to the right ports on the BCS, are you running with a dump valve, standard recirc valve or blanking plate?

Yea ill check the actuators tight tonight yes all the pipes are correct on the bcs and im running blanking plate with dump valve.

Perhaps your dump valve is weak/leaking. Can you remove it and blank the hole off, for testing purposes?

I have 4 dump valves so i can try them all and c if the others are any better thanks

You wouldnt want them mate there not lookers realy batterd 1s a baily wich leaks and the others aint much better. As i found out last night.
