    Bleeding the clutch

So I've read it can take a while, But how long? My neighbours think I'm odd keep shouting UP......DOWN......UP......DOWN to my dad sat in the car.
Haven't got an air line either, Doing it the oldskool way.

Anyone? I'm sort of running out of brake fluid and we've been at it half hour.

think as long as you got no bubbles or air coming out an its coming out constant it should be ok to lock it off when the pedals down

We had it coming out quite a bit, So I locked it off and we only had half a clutch. Carried on and now there's just fluid dribbling out and no clutch.

Seems like air is sticking in the pipe somewhere (Can hear it squelching about) and letting fluid past it.

Old school way to force the air out of brakes was to jam the peddle down over night.
Then open the valve with it open and you should get a rush of air out.

Trying an elaborate set up of bottles and pipes to try and back bleed it back through the system.

the clutch has its own reservoir, its sort of a split 'tank'... you need to fill the brake servo right to the top so it goes in that little hole... I found this a long time ago...

Lol, That'll explain why it blew air back through when the level dropped a tad.
Wish I'd known that 3 hours ago. Will give it another go tomorrow.
