    Nice find Duane even though it made me feel a bit sick watching it, just show's Johnny's nephew did nothing wrong the civic just turned straight into him, no wonder the poor lad looked shell shocked.

    That sucks hugely - it was bad enough just seeing the poor car afterwards!

    Civic driver was clueless.

    It was good to have AndysR turn up and run, i knew his auto would be quick Also, you could really see the benefits of the fmic on smithness' car. He was still getting quicker whilst the rest of us were struggling.

    I'm glad everyone involved in JT's incident was ok. I do think the muppet that ran into him should be picking up the bill though.

    Sorry to hear about the gearbox Emlyn, that is some hole! you may as well do the RMS at the same time when you swap it out.

    Thanks to smithness/claymore for my new toy.

    Hi Ed, good to see you and your car again. I think you also did well on Sunday, shame we didn't get a run in together would have been an interesting one... Maybe next time.

    Good news that the damage wasn't structural, fingers crossed it can be repaired. Have you heard anything from the Civic driver at all or are you letting it lie?

    what can i do?
    private land and all that......

    as i said at the time, the car was built for racing, so it was bound to happen at some point and I had already prepared myself for it.

    wasn't expecting it in this way, but stuff happens

    I'd have wanted an appology at the very least imho. Yeah I guess, fair play to you for being so calm and laid back about it, but then what you have said is correct. There is nothing you can do as it was private land so no point getting upset about it I guess...

    That is excellent news, a subframe should be cheap enough. I just sold one for £20 to LeeT5.

    Keep us updated

    Pedro did you find it on a Honda/Civic forum? If so care to send me a link via PM. I am keen to find out what has been said.

    I'd say post up the link on the forum but we have enough interVolvo wars without the need to involve the Japanese...
