    V70 TDi chip tuning box?

Has anyone had any experience using one of these boxes, I went in a car with a forum member a while ago, he had a tuning box fitted to his Auto TDi and it went like a standard T5 almost, I was well impressed but not sure what make his was.

I saw these on Ebay and wondered if they would work, has anyone tried it, looks cheap at 45 quid

Personnally I would steer clear of this cheapo version. the look of it is just a box to trick the readings coming from the sensors. Get a proper diesel tuning box or remap for a little extra cash and save in the long run. My Dad has one on his 54 v70 2.0d and he has already saved a fortune and well over the cost of purchase!!

ebay + performance upgrades that fiddle with your engine management =

I'd stay away from the tuning boxes a lot of them work by fooling the ecu to what's actually going on in the engine. Better off getting a remap and doing it properly.
Volvo v70 tdi, eibach springs, bilstein shocks. 18" jade r alloys, remap soon. Will have another t5 one day.

I see you got a TDi mate, have you ever thought of upping the power?

Yeah I have I spoke to Hlm about it and he can remap the ecu which roughly takes it from 140 to 170bhp
