Plus, the main turbo hose was not that warm like it normally is after a 2 hour journey? May be coincidence?

yes its bypassed, although the ECU will mess with the ignition as it can't lower the boost & lose power that way

OK - just gauging some interest if any in this car.....I have had enough....gonna go back to my trusty Peugeot TD that had no issues.

    Up for grabs would be:

5 x Refurbed Volans with 5 almost new tyres £400
    M59 gearbox £350
    RICA ECU £120
Koni FSD & Eichbach suspension £250
    16T turbo £150
    CD Changer £40
    SC901 £40
    Engine £200
    Cream Interior £200
    F&R bumpers £120 (with spot-lights)
    Spoiler £30
    Gas struts £20
    Rear wiper motor £20
    Dual exit powerflow exhaust £130
    MBC (cost £70) £50
Dump valve & hose (Forge twin piston) £70
    Pioneer AVH-3200BT DVD/bluetooth player £200
    Radiator £50
    Intercooler hoses & Intercooler £50
    Rear lights £40
    Front lights £40
    Roof rails £50

This will give me back £2,620 meaning i have only lost in 2 months of ownership around £700

    I aint spending any more.

I have just had it with this car.

Bought for £2,000 end of feb

On way home from collecting, lamda light came on - was split hose
    Then actuator went, then gearbox

To cut a long story short, i spent £2,000 buying it, then another £1,500 fixing it. I am not spending any more on it and it could be cat, maf, ABS unit etc. All listed are good parts and i have missed a few (roof rails etc)

Manual.......and btw....the gearbox listed for £350 is the replacement and that looks shagged too (syncromesh). That was another cracking purchase of mine that cost £701 fitted.......but, it only pops out of 2nd rarely and when coasting......but I am hoping fellows on here feel it's worth £350 in this condition as that's how it was sold on here
