btw - i feel that although pricey, the Volans are a good buy as the tyres alone are top brands (£450+?) and the alloys are refurbed......

Is this normal for cars? I have owned an ex-police T5 Auto that had NOOOO issues......and 215,000 miles when i sold it

Then I had an 850R auto that had NOOOO issues (except for my own mistake but we dont need to go there again lol)

Then I own an 850R manual and it's a constant issue.........cant remember the guy who said he used to see it driving about about and "as long as you're happy with it" was his quote......he obviously knew something I did not........

    All cars are different mate.

I now someone who used to have a 300bhp fiat coupe who used to thrash it everywhere, he had it for 3 years and had no problems at all.

Is this the R that was bought from Aberdeen 1 or 2 owners ago?

Looks like I dodged a bullet! I even offered 1.5 times his asking price to get it but he had already promised it to someone else

dunno about the TRACS & ABS lights, but lambda was dump valve mixture issue and is now rectified.......will drive round in a bit and see, but looks sorted.......just finished picking toys back up but if you knew what gip this car has given me in 7 weeks of ownership (compared to my last 2), you may understand that to me, it's just one constant issue.......

well take the mbc off , then the ecu can adjust the timing to suit the car , tracs and abs could be dirt on the sensors , tracs doesnt work above 25 mph anyways so its a waste of time
