code 414 abs..

keep getting code 414(which means 414 Right front wheel return valve, open/short)
when i flash read my abs,got the abs light on which has been on for ages since i replaced the bulb which a owner had wired up to the brake warning light(A mot bodge) ecu seems ok to me when i removed it and looked at all the tracks and soldering looks excellant on all joints...I assume its something inside the abs pump thats gone wrong.
