    Blanking plate

    Hi guys with a Blanking plate for recerc do I need to remove anything or just take off old plate and replace cheers

    you'll need to bung up the pipe that went to the recirc valve as well, thats it

    So do I remove the recirc or just the Blanking plate of the top

    Remove the re-circ, it has 3 bolts, then fit the plate using the same bolts.

    You going to be running a DV?

    I know it sounds good running a blanking plate with no dump valve bit is it really good for the turbo????

    i've only heard hearsay (not the group) saying they damage them & think that theory is taken from other cars which run higher boost levels than us, quite a few members posted up saying "they've had no recirc/dump valve for ???? time with no issues" when it came up before

    Blanking plate on 30 mins !!!!!! Wot a cool noise even in an auto ,, cheers guys just need to get dump valve now lol

    Just took off the air flow pipes used a small 10 mill spanner and some patience sounds fantastic hope it goes well for ya mate
