If you want, we'll bring the XC90, I can drag you out of the boonies, then beat you around the track too.

    Brake cooling ducts:

Now I 'm not convinced on these yet, I have been having a brake issue on the front right, so the leftside has been doing all the work.
Hopefully this is sorted now and should see some gains from that.

As Project 8 do like us cutting or drilling holes in our front bumpers, for what ever reason, I am making use of the holes left from the fog lights.
Flexible ducting goes up and over the subframe and down onto the wishbone.

I have ordered something like this, to go on the back of the bumper, to tidy things up at the front, but need to come up with something to get the air nearer the discs.

I've seen those things race round Brands, admittedly without a load, maybe you should bring it to a trackday??

ok, 3000 views since the last post, so your still interested?! lol

during qually at my last meeting, I managed to beat my PB by over a second, well pleased with that, but still found myself quite far down the grid. 16th IIRC.

But the last race didn't go to plan...................

Scrutineers said the wheel was loose and eventually snapped all 5 studs off. Thankfully at a slow point on the circuit.

    so, damage:

and as the brake disc went along the floor.......

even managed to damage the rear tow loop, dragging the car out of the kitty.

    so.....
    repair the bumper, again!
    new TC splitter, again!
    new wing, again!
    new studs,
    new brake discs,
    new pads,
    and its nearly ready.

whats left of Ferodo DS3000 after only 2hrs of track time!!

And noticed the rear tyres are only wearing on the inside half of the tyre. Too much camber, so removed the plates.

Just need to bleed the brakes and fit some decals and we're good to go........................straight to the next kitty litter, no doubt lol

    next event:

    thanks for reading/looking
