Are we allowed to come in the pits on the day?

As long as BTs been tested, then i wouldn't mind - as long as its not windy or it could blow away! lol

    yea, pits are usually open.

and there I was thinking the chutes on the back of drag cars are there to slow them down..........
now I realise they are there to help them land when the wind gets up!!

Had a pic sent to me today..........

having never see a jig, that looks like a complicated bit of kit!

as suspected the front left chassis leg is down but the whole leg has also gone backwards.

they are hoping they can pull it out..............

    more latest

    ok........................

    phone call just came in...........

    they have pulled it, but......
its not 100%. to get it 100% would require a new chassis leg or a new chassis.

    we are talking 3mm's difference!
so we are good to go, it wont pass an insurance inspection(would need to be 2mm), but I dont care about that! lol

    good news me thinks!!
