How much do you think this is worth?

Came across this on pistonheads, pretty local to me. How much do you think it's worth?

I'm waiting to find out some more info on it, hopefully its a manual, seems pretty steap price wise considering mileage and the way petrol prices are going. Do you think offering 2000 would be unreasonable?

Will post back when I've got more info on it

Ignoring what he's asking for it, how much do you think it's worth? Is there anything decent forsale on here around the 2k mark? I really want a fast manaul volvo estate, needing to replace my e30 touring

That's what I was thinking, but never seem to be able to find a good deal

I wonder what the £800 service included, you'd have to be pretty mad to sell a car after spending that on it

If you're wiling to travel, you'll find something far cheaper. I'd not hurry into buying anything.

I have been (and still am) watching loads lately ...... 850R's on ebay rarely go for above £1,800 and most go for £1,200 - £1,400

Then there's the guy with the white T5 auto in Scotland who started off at £4,500 - didn't sell, relisted for £4,000 - didn't sell ..... waiting for the 3rd relisting

It is a T5-R tho so maybe.......high miles tho? £2,400 would seem more adequate......depends on overall condition etc tho......I did see one sell for £6,800 last year......

Not a lot......T5-R's are rarer compared to the 850R's.......so usually comand more money.......nothing much else is different if anything.....

yep - all have the same engines with almost same turbo's (15g for T5's, 15g for 850R auto's and 16T's for 850R manuals - unsure of the T5-R's but along this line - maybe 16T's......)

T5rs have the 15g with overboost 240 BHP and they don't have the LSD or the same gearbox as the 850R

Ross... from your original quote where you think you will offer him 2000... I spoke to him last week ( in general and about his car ) and i think in a polite way you will will be told what to do with the offer...at the end of the day its not what people think its worth, its what it would take for the owner to let it leave their hands and this is the guys price.

I was offerd over 3000 for mine last week and i turned it down. Not because i think its a low offer ( its a fantastic offer and way above its value ) but its because i just dont want to sell it. If youre not desperate then money means nowt IMO

Did you get anymore info from him about the car when you spoke to him? Is it an auto or manual? I've not heard anything back from him yet

Only the P1 V70R manual came with 18T

I'm a 15g man myself
