If you need any help or advice with the car - I'll happily help. I also have a few spares should you need (including a door & a boot lid).

I am biased but I do find that the handling is pretty good on the C's

Nice looking motor Russ, didnt think you would last long out of the fold.

As previously mensioned Wobbly has a competitor now. Ill be very interested to see how the two compare in spec when it comes down to the strip.

nice car, but prefer colour of mine of course. there is another black one in doncaster that i know off.

not sure i will be in yours and dave's club when it comes to grunt but my midlife crisis has started and the tuning bug has started. had stainless system sorted today so got a decent sound out of mine now. off to brum next month for the remap.

i'm going to cheat a little when it comes to getting a decent output, just going to buy a built engine that i can fit (getting old and lazy) just not decided where to get this from. just don't tell the wife other wise she'll want the money for something in the house instead
because it just had to be done

been playing in the sunshine with mine today.

pulled the radiator fan out, cleaned all inside of it, then as i was in there decided to pull the etm off to clean it as its been on the car for 2 yrs and done around 40,000 miles, it wasn't to bad and took around 10 mins to clean like new inside it. not a bad job to do really, took more time getting the fan and cowling out than it did to get etm off.

also checked all vac hoses while i was in there and once back together ticks over as sweet as it ever did.

mines already got the poly bush top mount.

also fabricated my own strut brace today thats more substantial than the volvo item, taking it to local shop to have it chromed before put pics up of it.

can't beat playing when on hols instead of looking after kids

as far as the map goes its hlm for me just don't know what map to have. any suggestions welcome.

How hard was it to fit the aluminium inserts? I was told the dash had to come out!????

Looking good btw, the silver comets do look better on the dark cars.

Lets just say it took me about 3 hours to fit and i will never do it again lol, didnt take dash out managed to get to the screws behind with a small torx on a small socket.
Did lose some skin on hands though lol.
The one around the gear gator was easy and also the one on the glove box lid.

Cheers, i suppose i could do the bit around the gearstick and the glovebox, unfortunatly its the center part that has the big scratch on it.

Looks good. I am impressed that you have made up the RIP as I never believed it possible with all the sensors on the pipe leading into the ETM. Have you noticed any difference in the spool up time?
