    Vacuum/boost hoses - size required?

    Bought some before but I bought 6mm and this was ok for one but too big for others ....... what size ID do i need for vacuum/boost hoses before I order 10meters?

    Yeah giles 10m will be more than enough just make sure you buy good quality and not cheep silicone internailly braided hose is the best as the cannot expand or impload like the soft silicone.
    I would estimate you only need 5mtrs max

    hmm......where do i get the braided variety? either my searches are wrong or ebay dont sell any....?

    Ive got all the samco hoses but some has said they will have them if they dont contact me by the end of the week they will be back up for sale for £150 including dump valve

    I dunno ..... you need 2 meters just for the throttle body one ...... then there's 3 on the BCS @ about 40cm each ..... then I have my eye on a Forge Eunos MBC .......

    I replaced all mine with copper in a combination of brake pipe for the smaller bore and fuel pipe for the larger then you only need half a meter of both size rubber or silicon pipe to make the joins either end.
    Old Car: 855 T5 in Grey and rust (dead and gone, well, most of it !
    Missus' ride: Citroen C4 coupe 1.6 HDi,
    Modifications: Nowt.....yet !
    Daily driver: 855 R in Black,
    Currently nursing a blown head gasket, new engine on its way !
    Recent addition: Freshly imported Honda Stepwagon,
    Slowly turning into a camper van !
