Anyone got any idea what this noise could be? Its a 850 t5 and its the rear passenger side. I reckon it could be the hub or could it be the handbrake?

Sounds like the handbrake or maybe rear pads to me.

Thanked 528 Times in 448 PostsThe handbrake shoes do de laminate and break up after a while, may have a piece of the shoe that's come away.
Old Car: 855 T5 in Grey and rust (dead and gone, well, most of it !
Missus' ride: Citroen C4 coupe 1.6 HDi,
Modifications: Nowt.....yet !
Daily driver: 855 R in Black,
Currently nursing a blown head gasket, new engine on its way !
Recent addition: Freshly imported Honda Stepwagon,
Slowly turning into a camper van !
