1997 Volvo V70R 1997 Auto FWDwhat is a whistling turbo ( thought all turbos whistled) looking at a V40 DS and ad says has whistling turbo poss bearing but drives perfect, no smoke, plenty of power and good fuel consumption... is there a prob? also is it costly to repair if is...and is it a bearing or new turbo? Any ideas?

Thanked 43 Times in 39 Postsdont think the turbos are that dear.never fixed mine as id had enough of it.make sure it doest rattle when its ticking over tho as new flywheels are pricey..
