    Question tyres on my 850r

    Hi all.......could I fit a set of tyres and rims 225/45/17 7.5j to my car?

    I havnt got the 302 upgrade on the brakes...

    Thinkin of getting rid of the volans for a nice set of after market....

    They'll go on okay, But why? Volans look ace (As do the 18" Pegasus)
    If you do sell, You won't have much trouble punting on the Volans.

    your right they do look nice, but ive seen a nice set of after markets in black and i think they will look mint on my motor

    An R needs Volans or Titans - at a push, Pegasus...I think the 225 may scuff IIRC?

    225's will scrub on lock........good for laying the power down but not so good for the inner arches, oooooo and MOT time as i think wheels/tyres fouling part of the vehicle is a fail????

    Put bigger lock stop on, then to won't have the scuffing problem.

    I ran 7.5" tethy's on mine with 215/45/17, once I put 5mm spacers on, I had no problem with catching.
