    Shiny & chipped

Splashed out on a full valet and paint tart up....
Got rid of the dog smell nicely!

Also it would be cheeky not to fit this.... (and a dump valve kit!)

Bit jerky on boost and the lambda light is on, but I'll be fitting plugs soon, so hoe that helps.

Autumn Gold, lovely colour & rare as well. Is your dump valve kit intended for a T-5 because it might be that causing your problems, both the jerkyness & lamba light. Also a good idea to read the codes see what the diagnostics say LINK

    It's a 95, so that technique won't work seemingly.

Should a DV not be ok to run on the earlier T5s?

Mine's a 95, and I have a dump valve on her, as long as its a twin piston one, it will work ok

This is the kit I have, but I'm not using it on my new build.

Plugs and air filter a good start. I use a K&N flat panel inside the existing airbox. Plugs have been the source of all the misfires I have ever had on my 3 850s - so a quick and cheap fix IMHO. And do use VPower (£1.33 a litre yesterday ) because you won't benefit from the Rica much otherwise.
I think you have the old style (and much user friendlier) led code thing behind the headlight. So have a butchers at that too.

Where did you fit the D/V? Mine is shown (not very clearly) below in the top air pipe. It is a Forge one, with blanking plate instead of recirculating valve - and also ALL rubber vacumn pipes replaced. These get flaky and can collapse under vacumn, or just plain leak.

I REALLY WILL FIT MY RIP KIT ONE OF THESE DAYS!!!

    Sorted the running issues today!
New leads, plugs cap and arm.... made a massive difference, totally smooth on boost now, right up to the top of the scale!
Also got my C70 Propus alloys refurbed in anthracite too. Looks so much better and with new rubber it actually grips for a change now!

Still got the sodding lambda light on though!

Lambda light should clear itself within 200 or so miles of all problems being fixed.

When my lambda light was on, after I found out the problem, I took the ECU out for an hour, refitted it, no more light

Ok, it's the most unrevealing 'reveal' ever.... but here's a pic of my 855 with it's C70 rims on..... (it was utterly chucking it down and I was staying inside )
