    Nice, my mum had a 360 2.0i GLT with the black striping down the back... that was the car I learnt to change gear on. Loved it

    a friend was given a 340 as a runabout, i drove it upto Wales to deliver it but by the time it got there had a few issues (exhaust blowing etc) so i got to drive it back & scrapped it. Must admit it was actually quite nice to drive & did think about keeping it to do as another BT style project but couldn't justify it

    Whys the numbering all messed up on these ones anyway?
    Mine was a 360 GLT but certain it only had 4 cylinders?
    Wheras my parents had a 260 GLE and that was a 2.8l 6 cylinder beast
    And obviously, the 850 is 5 cylinder.
    Shame the 480 wasnt a V8...

    Weren't the 360's so numbered as to differentiate them from the smaller Renault engined 1.4 and 1.7's ?

    340 = 1.4 and 1.7 Renault sourced engines

    360 = 2.0 Volvo engines; B19/B200K (Carb) and B200E (injection)

    I had 3 360 GLTs, great cars although they rot badly and some of the build quality isnt very volvo like.
