    JCViggen's 850 T5-R

Been spending alot of time pondering what the next step is with the car and came accross JCViggen's profile on youtube and other Volvo forums. Really like what he has done to his motor. Wondering if a similar spec to his is worth considering in the future. Judging by some of his videos on youtube he is a pretty skilled driver too. I could only dream of an 8.04 around the ring.

The car spec is as follows:

    ENGINE MODS (bolt-ons)

    - V-band 3" wastegate ATP

    - Big generic cone filter

    - Mazda RX7 style aftermarket V-mount intercooler
    - "R" type exhaust manifold
    - Apex'i AVC-R boost controller
    - Turbo-tuner USB programmable ECU
    - DIY 2.5" IC piping
    - Ferrita 3" downpipe
    - JT 3" exhaust
    - UR underdrive pulley

Really looking forward to seeing your car once its finished. Cant be far off now eh paul?

Should be a good few motors to see with very different specs soon, be interesting to see which tracks and which drags best.

Should have the turbo this week, and modify the manifold to take it,then going to start cleaning up the engine bay, its a bit mucky after 15yrs of engine grime

Well money would be my only factor but hopefully if I start saving I should have enough for the expected £300 fuel bill.

£300? I thought Nurburgring was in Germany not Coventry?

Jesus you have fuel problems! Its roughly 500 miles each way so 1000 miles total. £300 divided by the current £6 a gallon for V-Power is 50 gallons. Now 50 gallons based on 25mpg is 1250 miles, even if you only done 20mpg on route its 1000 miles of fuel. Should get there and back I think!
