    exhaust cutout

    Has anyone had an exhaust cutout on their volvo? And would it work ok with a turbo?
    I know they are fine on naturally aspirated engines but does a turbo'd motor need the pressure from the exhaust?
    I was thinking about an electronicly controlled one.


    Bailey dump valve + Boost gauge + Manual boost controller + K&N induction kit + Powerflow cat back exhaust + Strut Brace + Bilstein shock n sports springs with 40mm drop
    = very fast and still turns corners

    i've got a QTP exhaust cut-off on BT, its more beneficial on turbos before the less back pressure the better

    its a Ferrita downpipe which i cut-up myself & then got Powerflow to weld the needed pipe & flange onto for me

    tbh i think i only used it once before i took BT off the road so can't really make a judgement on any performance differences it made, hopefully she'll be back on the road soon so promise to use it more & find out lol
