Anyone want to go santapod in january?

As the title says. Although i'm not the biggest fan of santapod, i can't wait untill aprill for avon to start going again, so was wondering if anyone wanted to go to the pod in january or february?

I'm trying to get a couple of people i know to take their cars - golf 4motion, mini cooper s and a vauxhall nova (don't laugh, its pretty quick). Like to get my bro to go in his 200sx, but as he can't wake up before 1pm on a weekend its unlikely. lol

Anyone up for it? Dates still undecided untill we know who wants to and when they can make it, i'm thinking of around end of jan, start of feb.

I thought the end would be best, so to give people a chance to get some cash after xmas, but whatever is best for people.

Gives me a chance to to get a time in its current state, before i do a few mods to it.

Always good imo, that way you can see whether what you have done has many any difference.

Just looked on the Santapod website and the first RWYB of 2011 is Sunday 16th of January, so providing my turbo is on by then ill be attending then. They are also on the 23rd and 30th.

Perhaps organise an overnight camping meet, chance to have a laugh and a few beers the night before, that said may be too cold for the warm blooded amongst us!

Its basically the positioning of the fire up lane, the seating stand blocks all view of the track so when you are queing to take your turn you cant see any of the action.

many years ago it used to be the regular place for the VPC meets, but i think drag racing has took off even more & Santa Pod attracts more crowds as its the better known out of the strips so takes ages to get to race. Plus if your racing you blind from all the action as the fire-up lane hides you behind the grandstand
