    Pix of my first Volvo....

This is quite a departure for me as I've always been into modified (and usually impractical) old Fords and Italians!

But ever since the '94 BTCC I've had a quiet fondness for the 850....
So here we go, my new 850 T5.

Looks like a tidy one, you seem to share very similar car taste with myself. I see your looking to fit a towbar and perhaps get it remapped? Do you have any other plans for the car? How do you find it so far?

    Getting tints done on Monday.
Thinking maybe a bit of lowering, a set of Titans, maybe a splitter and spoiler.
A tow bar would be handy for the track car, a remap is tempting, but I should really keep it as standard and reliable as possible as none of my other cars are

Quite impressed so far. A few niggles to sort, but my main grievance is the bloody smell of dog that the last owner left in it!

i wouldnt worry about a remap making it unreliable, mines on 220k with a remap and in the process of being supercharged.

I agree, with a car in good working order, there should be no problems with ANY of the standard off the shelf maps.

Would chipping it give much of a gain? How much we talking? Both power torque and cash!
(Oh yeah and MPG difference on boost!)
